Labyrinth Inhabitant's Last Issue

Issue 11 will be the last. See my introduction to the issue. To anyone thinking of starting an e-zine, I'd strongly endorse my approach of choosing a weirdly narrow theme. You don't get overwhelmed with submissions, but the self-selected group of authors who do submit are more likely to send you high-quality work. I think the site's relatively high acceptance rate belied the fact that, as an editor, I was always able to be every bit as selective as I wanted to be.

Running the site was a good experience, but over three years is a long time to stick to any creative project, especially one that was never designed to make any money. So, I decided to leave it at a high point. As you'll see if you click through to the issue, the works in Issue 11 were possibly the best yet.

P.S. I'm pretty sure every submission got a response. If your story didn't get one, I guess this means I rejected it?
